Description
This balm starts with calendula officinalis petals steeped in organic sunflower oil for a full six weeks, drawing out the plant’s warm, golden character before a colloidal oat flour and light beeswax base is worked in to complete the formula. The result is a thick, occlusive balm suited for areas of skin that do well with a more substantial botanical layer. The color runs a soft, natural gold from the calendula infusion, and the scent is quiet and slightly grassy, nothing added, nothing masked. At room temperature the texture is smooth and spreadable, yielding easily without feeling greasy or heavy on application. Packaged in a clean, lidded jar that fits comfortably in hand, this balm sits alongside the other botanical body balms in the collection.

The scent is so subtle and natural, just a faint green, grassy warmth, nothing perfumey at all, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

Texture is really nice, smooth but substantial, and the golden color in the jar is genuinely pretty.

The balm itself is lovely but I wished the jar was a little larger for the price, though I do like how it feels on application.

Came packaged really well and the balm has this honest, botanical smell that actually reminds me of dried flowers in a warm room.
